Greetings from the Wildlife Clinic of Rhode Island

Together, this year we rescued and nursed 6,600 orphaned and injured wild animals across 188 species from every city and town in Rhode Island.

As the only wildlife emergency veterinary hospital in the state, the Wildlife Clinic of RI turns away no wild animal in need. Ever. We suture a wound, repair a broken wing or mother when mom herself has been injured, or worse.

This holiday season, please support local wildlife. Your donation allows the Wildlife Clinic to continue to operate and provide qualified, compassionate care to all injured wildlife in Rhode Island.

All Donations Immediately Go to Work on Behalf of RI Wildlife:
  • $1,000 covers critical medical treatment such as ortho- pedic surgery with on-going physical therapy for a hawk or owl with a broken wing.

  • $500 purchases a year's worth of antibiotics and crucial pain medication for dozens of sick and injured wild animals, such as the New England cottontail.

  • $250 supplies one month of high quality and species-specific diets for mammals, such as fox kits, and songbirds, such as cardinals.

  • $100 provides essential medical supplies like bandages, syringes, and other first aid materials used daily to treat injured wildlife.

  • $50 covers enrichment materials, such as nesting and burrowing structures, to help rehabilitate and prepare injured animals for release into the wild.

Your Life-Saving Gift Goes Directly to our Wildlife Fund.

Your gift is more than a donation, it’s a promise that these precious creatures will get a fighting chance to return to their natural environments and thrive.

While there are many things to celebrate this holiday, my wish is that each of us enjoy the peaceful bounty of a robust and healthy wildlife population. With your help, we can.

With gratitude for your partnership and wishes for a safe and healthy holiday. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Executive Director, William Morrissette
